Fibre Reinforced Polymer Rebar

As a non-corrosive alternative to steel, FRP rebar is an ideal solution for any concrete reinforced project. This includes all structural or architectural applications in compromising environments. The cost is comparable or lower than steel.

FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer) is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers. The fibers are usually glass (in fiberglass), basalt, carbon, or aramid. The polymer is usually an epoxy, vinyl ester, or polyester thermosetting plastic.ย

FRP bar has been developed as a non-corrosive alternative to steel for concrete reinforcement. FRP bar is suitable for any structural or architectural application where a material that is corrosion resistant, lightweight, or non-conductive is required.

FRP bar is the ideal solution for concrete reinforced projects, such as bridges, barrier walls, decks, diaphragm walls (soft eye), tunnel segments, garages, pavements, Wharfs, sea walls, wave breakers retaining walls and fence systems.

Available in all colours, lengths, and diameter.

For Concrete Mix

Alkali Resistant (AR) Glass Fibers are designed specifically for use in concrete/cement. They are manufactured from a specially formulated glass composition to be suitable for use in concrete.

AR GlassFiber are particularly suitable for Premix GFRC and other mortar and concrete reinforcement applications, such as the general ready-mix concrete and precast industries. They have high tensile strength and modulus, do not rust like steel, and are easily incorporated into concrete mixes.

These Alkali Resistant AR GlassFiber will drastically improve the structural integrity of GFRC mixgeneral ready-mix and precast concrete, saving weight and money.

Threaded GFRP Connector

Newly designed threaded GFRP Connectors (Type I) and Traditional GFRP Connectors (Type II) are components in the construction of insulated concrete sandwich panels. The connectors fasten two concrete layers through an insulation layer. Applications include horizontally cast or vertically cast panels. Horizontally cast applications include plant-cast precast panels and site-cast tilt-uppanels. Vertically cast applications include plant-cast modular precast units and formed-in-place structures.

SFTec successfully completed the ISO9001 quality system, ISO1400, CE and MA certifications. GFRP rebar are tested by Prof. Brahim Benmokrane of the Sherbrook University (QC, Canada). Our products go through strict testing requirements before they are approved for the market.

As a matter of principle, every SFTec product is consistent with all required international quality specifications, and industry standards before being approved for final mass production.
